Year 7 Boys Netball – SSV State Champions

Going through to Whitehorse, EMR and State Finals undefeated.

The boys came into the sport at the Whitehorse level, knowing very little about the game and its rules. Across the 3 levels of competition they improved out of sight. At the State Final they defeated; Preliminary rounds - Mary McKillop Leongatha (22-7), Belmont HS (17-12) and Dromana SC (18-14). They defeated Ballarat High in the Semi-Final (20-4) and then played Belmont HS again in the Final. It was a really hard fought Grand Final game with the lead changing many times. However, the boys kept their cool and came away with a 19-17 win.  Outstanding day for all of the boys
