Year 9 Duke Of Edinburgh Camp Wilsons Promontory Camp or Mitchell River

In order to complete the requirements for the ‘Adventurous Journey’ section of the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award, your child has the opportunity to attend a hiking-based program through Wilsons Promontory National Park or Mitchell River.

This camp is only available to students who are enrolled in the Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh elective and actively completing the award.

Students will participate in a range of outdoor living and hiking activities throughout the camp which is run by highly trained staff from Halls Outdoor Education, assisted by three Blackburn High School teachers.
