Creativity abounds at Blackburn and students are given every opportunity to demonstrate their creative skills through a wide range of external experiences.
Year 9 Photography and Multimedia students will be representing the school as part of the Adobe Have a Voice Project and their work will be screened at the Australian Centre for Moving Images – ACMI.
The aim of this program is to provide Victorian students with an opportunity to have a voice about something that is important to them and enhance their 21st century communication and creativity skills as well as encouraging students’ self agency.
Working with Adobe, Blackburn Photography and Multimedia specialist teachers have designed the program to enhance students’ use of Information Communication Technology ( ICT), creativity and collaborative learning skills.
The task entails groups of students working together with Adobe products, such as Premier and Adobe Animate, to produce either a video documentary or animation about a topic or issue that is important to the group. The 5 best projects produced will be screened at ACMI on Wednesday 22nd November.
