A Lecture at the University of Melbourne titled  ‘The Russian Revolution After 100 Years’ gave VCE students valuable insight into the effects of the Russian Revolution in Europe. The lecture, delivered by University of Melbourne historian, Prof Mark Edele, discussed  the significance of the Russian Revolution over the 20th century.

Professor Edele introduced students to the wider ramifications of the Revolution in the surrounding states in Eastern Europe and Eurasia, with a focus on the destruction of a Tsarist empire and the establishment of a Communist empire.

Melbourne University provided a  stimulating and engaging academic environment and the thought provoking lecture engaged and enriched  our students.
