The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is a two-year certificate based around the successful completion of senior secondary school. The VCE provides pathways to further study at university, TAFE and to the world of work.
Preparing students for their futures

The VCE comprises over 90 studies. Extensive research was carried out by Blackburn High School to determine which of the available studies the school could adequately resource to provide a comprehensive senior curriculum. Studies from all of the eight Learning Areas developed by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) are included and cater for the choices and requirements of this school community.
