
Year 7 Camp
The Year 7 Camp is conducted early in Term 1 so that students and staff have the opportunity to get to know one and other in relaxed, casual environment. The camp is in February and runs for 3 Days at Waratah Bay Beach Camp.
Year 8 Camp
The Year 8 Camp is conducted in May and, in 2018, was held at the Dewar Camp. The camp facilitates a positive community experience for students while, at the same time, providing the opportunity for Victorian Curriculum-linked experiential learning to take place. Our camp programs are fun-filled, affordable, educational and safe. The camp runs for 3 days for the majority of students.
Year 9 Camp
Students have the opportunity to attend a 5 day camp on the Gold Coast visiting the major themes parks. The camp, run in early December, is a marvelous end to the Year 9 course.
Year 10 Sports Leadership Sailing Camp
Students in the Year 10 Sports Leadership Program attend a 3-day sailing camp near Geelong in the first week of December.
Chinese Sister School Tour
Students in Year 9 have the opportunity to travel to China, bi annually, where they are hosted by Shaxi High School. Students enjoy a range of cultural expriences that expand their international understanding and cultural awareness. In the alternative year Shaxi visits Blackburn High School.
International Tour
For students from Years 9 – 12 the bi annual International tour provides an opportunity for students to visit our sister schools in France and Germany where they can practice their language skills as well as learn about the culture and history of the European countries they visit.

Music Camp
The Music Camp is for all students in our orchestras, concert bands and ensembles in preparation for the South Street Eisteddfod which is the biggest eisteddfod in the Southern hemisphere. The 3 day camp is held in Daylesford in August.
