to an audience of family and friends.
This event was a crucial component of their coursework for the year. Over the past eight weeks, the students have diligently crafted and refined their solo performances, adhering to rigorous guidelines while also exercising their creativity.
Throughout this period, students employed various playmaking techniques, including research, scripting, improvisation, and rehearsal, to develop their performances. The evening featured a diverse range of characters, from Knights of the Round Table to Kath and Kim, Steve Irwin, and a Detective.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to celebrate the students' dedication and hard work over the term. From all reports from those that attended, it was a terrific night and those who participated should be very proud of their efforts.
Peter Hodkinson, the Senior Drama Teacher from Koonung Secondary College, attended the event and was highly impressed with the students' work. He provided valuable feedback that the Year 12 students can use to enhance their performances in preparation for their upcoming performance exam in early October.
We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event and wish the Year 12 students the best of luck as they approach their performance exams.
